Introducing Tim and Alex from

Motorvation Custom Paint and Panel

Owner and operator, Tim Kollosche, commenced an apprenticeship as a Panel Beater in 1987 at the age of 16 years, in the Melbourne eastern suburb of Croydon. 

Tim completed his apprenticeship and became a qualified Panel Beater in 1991. During this time Tim extended his skill base to become a quality Spray Painter. His career continued to flourish through the 90’s as a repairer and workshop foreman.

In 2004 Tim became a director of a smash repair centre in Melbourne’s East before establishing Motorvation Custom Paint and Panel in 2013. 

With renewed enthusiasm and over 30 years of skill and dedication to the motor vehicle trade, Tim and his team and Motorvation Custom Paint and Panel look forward to assisting our happy customers with their motor vehicle repair needs. 

Sharing Tim’s passion for the trade, Alex has worked tirelessly under the guidance of Tim and Motorvation’s professional team, completed his year 12 studies and subsequent apprenticeship in Autobody Repair with Kangan Institute.

During his time as a student at Kangan, Alex was nominated for recognition in the World Skills Competition Australia for skills excellence and was awarded a gold medal certificate in Autobody Repair Melbourne in 2017.

With his inherent enthusiasm for cars both young and old, Alex looks forward to undertaking repair and restoration works with commitment, spirit and an exceptional work ethic undoubtedly ensuring the highest level of customer service and repairs.
